Snowmobiles
Snowmobilers are welcome in the City of Cold Spring, but are reminded to remain on the designated snowmobile route while in the city limits (unless going directly to or from the route system from home or a business). A new route has recently been established in an effort to move snowmobiles out of the busy County Road 2 and 50 intersection. The map below shows the new snowmobile route.

A youth snowmobile safety training course is offered by the Sno-Angels in November and December for more information contact Steve Gertken at 685-8783.

City of Cold Spring snowmobile route system maps are available at City Hall or Super America.  Other snowmobile trail maps and information are available from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the Country Snow Cruisers, Inc.

Fishing
Fishing in Minnesota is not only a sport for the summer but also for the winter.  The Cold Spring area has plenty of lakes for the active fisherperson to try their luck on.   We recommend reviewing fishing regulations along with ice safety tips which are available from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources.
